Biography：
Dr. Lin Yi is an Emergency Physician at Chimei Medical Center and Medical Director for the Tainan Fire
Department. He led the collaboration with the Taiwan Blood Services Foundation to introduce Low-titer Group
O Whole Blood (LTOWB) to Chimei’s emergency department, making it the first medical center in Asia to
implement LTOWB in trauma resuscitation. He is dedicated to improving massive transfusion protocol and
trauma care quality, and actively engages in international and inter-hospital exchanges on emergency medicine
and critical care.
