Biography：
Debbie has been a nurse for 35 years and worked in the hospital prior to her career with Becton Dickinson. Her nursing experience includes Oncology, Chemo Infusion Clinic, Vascular Access Team, Medical Intensive Care, Surgical Recovery, Gastrointestinal Lab, and Interventional Cardiac Catheterization.
Debbie is employed with BD as a Senior Manager, Global Market Development since 2020. Prior to her current role, Debbie was a Clinical Specialist with Bard/ BD for 14 years focusing on creation of Vascular Access Teams using ultrasound for vascular access of PICCs, Midlines and ultrasound-guided peripheral IV catheters. She provides education on the use of catheter tip navigation and ECG confirmation technology for PICC insertion.
She holds a Master of Science in Nursing Executive Leadership and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She is credentialed as a Vascular Access-Board Certified (VA-BC) nurse and Certified Registered Nurse Infusion (CRNI).
She has spoken at international conferences about the benefits of Vascular Access Teams and using enabling technologies such as ultrasound and ECG catheter tip confirmation systems.
