Biography:
Dr. Wei-Cheng Chen is a specialist in pulmonary and critical care medicine, with a focus on smart healthcare, interdisciplinary care, antimicrobial resistance, ARDS, and sepsis. He actively promotes the integration of clinical practice and digital transformation—such as AIoT solutions—to enhance care quality and operational efficiency.
He has been honored with the Young Investigator Award from the Taiwan Society of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine and the Outstanding Young Physician Award from the Taichung City Medical Association. His research has earned top accolades at the Taiwan–Japan Critical Care Conference and has been published in Critical Care.
Dr. Chen leads a digital critical care team recognized with the 2023 HIMSS Davies Award of Excellence (Asia’s sole recipient that year), as well as the National Healthcare Quality Award (NHQA) and the Symbol of National Quality (SNQ) for excellence in healthcare innovation.
